The campsite is a Camping and Caravan Club CS site and can take up to 5 caravans or campervans and 10 tents or trailer tents.
We are really sorry, but our field isn't suitable for motorhomes.
We are a small, "greenfield" campsite, the facilities are basic - there are two toilets and showers. Please note we don't currently have washing up facilities, please bring a washing bowl and a stove to heat your water!
We have a limited number of electrical hook ups ( if you don't want an electric hook up for your tent we do have points where you can charge devices or use an electric pump to inflate your airbed). Please bring a 25m hook up cable complying with BS EN 60309-2.
For those of you who are concerned about the environment you will be pleased to know that we buy our power from an all renewable supplier and when the sun is shining we generate our own power from the solar panels on our house.
At present the local internet connection isn't good enough to offer wifi. Showers are FREE.
What we do have are meadows, fields, woods, streams. a pond and walks.
Remember to bring boots and waterproofs (this is rural Wales and rain is not unknown, thing may get wet and muddy) and if you are in a tent a warm sleeping bag (we know from experience that it can get unexpectedly cold at night when camping whatever the daytime temperatures are like), though we do have a few of these things you may be able to borrow if you forget them.
We also have our re-cycled tipi, where you can sit and relax around the campfire.
Fires are allowed if they are off the ground, we have a number of firepits which can are available for use and a bbq area in the ruin near the pond. If you need some wood for your fire please ask (but please don't hurt our trees).
Well behaved dogs are welcome to camp at The Valley but must kept on a lead or tethered, when not in your tent or van, please clear up after them.
Our check in time is between 2pm and 8pm and it is helpful to us if you let us have a rough idea of your arrival time. If you would like to arrive earlier or later please ask, it may be possible, but if you are arriving late please be mindful of our other campers, some may have small children who are in bed.
Check out 11am on your departure day, this gives us time to prepare for the next guests.
